Kojima Productions объявила о своём самом амбициозном партнёрстве за пределами игр. Студия совместно с ASUS Republic of Gamers представила собственный игровой планшет и серию аксессуаров для ПК, оформленных в стиле Death Stranding.
Главной новинкой стал ROG Flow Z13-KJP — гибридный игровой планшет формата «два в одном», внешний вид которого разработал художник Metal Gear и Death Stranding Ёдзи Синкава (Yoji Shinkawa). Визуально устройство отсылает к талисману студии — Люденсу, а в комплекте идёт фирменный чехол в духе Death Stranding.
Я хотел создать гаджет, который принадлежит Люденсу, и заложил эту идею в дизайн ПК. Отдельные элементы и оформление вдохновлены Люденсом и передают его сущность.

Планшет получил 13,4-дюймовый экран с разрешением 2,5K (2560×1600 пикселей) и частотой обновления 180 герц, съёмную клавиатуру и процессор AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 с графикой Radeon 8060S.
Помимо планшета, ASUS показала целую линейку аксессуаров в стиле Kojima Productions. В неё вошли гарнитура ROG Delta II-KJP, игровая мышь ROG Keris II Origin-KJP Edition и большой ковёр ROG Scabbard II XXL-KJP. Все девайсы выдержаны в едином визуальном стиле студии.
Точные цены и даты выхода пока не раскрываются, но ASUS ожидает запуск планшета и аксессуаров в первой половине этого года.
Параллельно Kojima Productions продолжает развивать вселенную Death Stranding за пределами видеоигр. В работе находятся анимационный фильм Death Stranding: Mosquito, сериал для Disney+ под названием Death Stranding Isolations, а также полнометражная экранизация от студии A24.
