По словам директора, новинка от студии Pearl Abyss получилась увлекательной, но несколько бездушной — чтобы угодить максимально широкой аудитории, авторы напичкали игру прорвой идей, которые хорошо себя показали в других хитах.
В Crimson Desert интересно играть, но это очень циничная смесь позаимствованных механик. Это Now That’s What I Call Gaming, схваченный с полки автозаправки, и к этому можно относиться по-разному. Ожидайте ещё больше подобного среди премиум- и F2P-игр. Это менее рискованно.
Более ли игра циничная, чем любая другая большая AAA-песочница, которая черпает из собственного прошлого? Наверное, нет. По крайней мере, она придаёт этому блюду остроту, а не убирает её.

Crimson Desert is fun to play, but it is such a cynical amalgamation of borrowed mechanics. It is Now That’s What I Call Gaming plucked off a gas station shelf, for better & worse. Expect a lot more of this in premium & F2P. There is less risk in it.
